How do I know which radio will fit in my car?

Your car will need either a single or double DIN car radio, which depends on the make and model of the vehicle. You can either hand measure the car radio or use a fit database to get an accurate measurement. If you are hand measuring, the most common sizes are:

- 50 x 180mm: Single DIN
- 100 x 180mm: Double DIN

Does a car stereo need an amplifier?

Most car stereos have a built-in amplifier, but they don't always provide the best audio. If you are looking for higher-quality sound, investing in a separate amplifier can ensure you are getting the most our of your car stereo.

Can I replace my own car radio?

It's possible to fit your own car radio once you have purchased the head unit. You'll need to remove the trim and old car radio, then unplug the wiring before reconnecting it to the new radio unit. Depending on the make and model of the vehicle, it can be tricky; seek help from a professional if you need a helping hand.

Does every car radio have AUX?

Not every car radio will have an auxiliary port ; this will depend on the year the car was made. Aux cords started to be phased out around 2005, so car radios manufactured after then may not have one. New car radios also tend to favour USB-C and Bluetooth systems, such as Apple Car Play.
