Why and when should I change my engine oil?

Engine oil is designed to keep all the parts of your engine moving and working correctly. Over time it collects dirt and becomes less efficient, eventually requiring a change.

It’s recommended you change your engine oil every 5,000 miles. If you drive a lot, particularly in challenging conditions, it’s worth changing it at 3,000 miles.
