Spark plugs ignite the air and fuel mixture in the engine to create an explosion, resulting in power to the vehicle to get it moving.

The cost of spark plugs depends on the quality of material, with copper being cheaper than platinum. Most spark plugs are around £80, but can be as much as £130.

What is the life expectancy of spark plugs?

You can find the life span of the spark plugs for your vehicle in the owners handbook, but as a general rule of thumb, most spark plugs need replacing at around 30,000 to 90,000 miles.

Can you drive with bad spark plugs?

You should replace your spark plugs immediately to ensure a smooth and safe driving experience, however, you can go a short time without doing so if necessary.
