Spigot rings are usually made of metal or hard plastic and come in many different sizes. Their purpose is to help align aftermarket wheels. This is because third-party wheels have larger centre bores to accommodate a number of different vehicles. The first step when buying spigot rings is to find the right ones for your car. To do this, simply type in your registration number in the yellow ‘licence plate’ box above. Assuming you’ve found and bought your spigot rings, you now need to fit them. Try the ring on the wheel hub and make sure it fits tightly before you proceed. If it fits, then take it off and place the wheel face down. Press the spigot into the centre hole until it sits flush. It is vital that it does not stand proud. The spigot ring should now be sitting securely in position in the back of your wheel.
