Our single-phase VEC03 is an affordable fully featured EV and PHEV tethered charger that is perfect for your home. Despite its low cost, it’s a compact, modern unit that doesn’t compromise on quality and is the perfect way to charge your Type-2 EV or PHEV. Better yet, pair the tethered charger with our wall cable holder to keep your cable organised and secure while it’s not in use.

What does a standard installation mean?

What's included?
• Applicable to VEC01 & VEC03 chargers only
• Offer applies to 10m cable installations, including data cable for load limiting.
• The cable must be drilled through an external wall and clipped direct to the charger location
• Consumer unit must be up to date and have adequate space.
• Charger installed from an existing DP isolator using a Henley block, or installing from a compliant consumer unit which has a spare non-RCD Way. (If an upgrade is needed to an existing RCD in the consumer unit this would be additional costs to customer and subject to quoting).
• Installation of Surge protection, DP Type A RCD and required MCB
• The charger location must be in reach of the household Wi-Fi. If booster required will be additional cost.
• Charger to be installed charge point to a brick or plaster wall or other suitable permanent structure.
• Testing, commissioning, set up and demonstration of charger.
• Notifying DNO, Building control and issuing electrical certification

Exclusions
• No additional works or groundworks
• DNO upgrade works, or upgrades to existing electrical system
• Entering loft spaces; lift floorboards or flooring; taking apart any furniture, working above a height of 2m.

Installations that don’t meet the above requirements may be subject to additional charges.

If your item is Over-Weight (Over 20kgs) or you are located in a remote area you may incur an additional charge. If this is the case the cost will be automatically calculated by our system at the checkout phase.

Due to the volume of deliveries, please allow a full 7 working days before contacting our customer service centre. All delivery times are approximate and can be delayed due to circumstances outside of our control.

No deliveries will be made on Sundays or Bank/ Public Holidays.

Delivery timescales will vary for items which are not marked as in-stock.

Click & collect

Our Click & Collect service is FREE.

Click & Collect is easy way to check the stock, latest price and reserve products at your local Euro Car Parts branch. Click & Collect is available for all products and if in stock at your selected branch, items will be available for immediate collection and held until the end of the next working day. To Reserve your products, simply choose Click & Collect as checkout method and enter your branch. Our system will than check the latest stock at your nearest branches and if items are in stock you can reserve them immediately. Alternatively, if the items are not in stock, our system will offer you a later collection date, if available. Once you submit the form, you will receive e-mail containing your proof of reservation and reference number. Do not forget to bring your confirmation email with you when you visit our branch to collect your order.

 

Returns

At Euro Car Parts we hope that you are happy with your purchase, however we know that sometimes you will need to return or cancel an item. You can return your purchase to any of our Euro Car Parts Stores.

  • Any products returned must be in a re-saleable condition & include the original packing and documentation.
